terms + conditions
We know sometimes things change, please take note of our cancellation policy and terms + conditions before booking.
Please note, our timetable and teachers are subject to change. We will endeavour to keep the timetabled classes and listed teachers as displayed, however we reserve the right to change class times and teachers at our discretion.
Early cancellations (up to 3 hours before start of class). You can cancel class bookings up to 3 hours in advance through our online timetable. Your class credit will be credited back to your account. We do not offer refunds for drop in sessions but your class will be credited to your account for future use within 90 days.
Late cancellations (within 3 hours of start of class). We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable – but cancelling late or not attending at all often stops other students from booking places in that class. If you cancel a class booking within 3 hours of the class start time, the class will not be credited back to your pass or refunded and it will be considered a no-show. For unlimited pass holders, late cancellations and no-shows will incur a penalty per session. If you get 3 penalties you will be given a warning, if you get 5 penalties your season pass may be revoked, this will be at the discretion of the studio . Our aim is to improve the Powder Yoga experience for everyone and make it easier for all students to be able to attend the classes they want to.
Class passes and packs begin on the day they are purchased. If you purchase a 7 day pass on the 1st of the month, this will expire on the 7th of the month. This is the same for all our consecutive day passes and season passes unless a specific end date is listed for the pass. Once purchased these passes cannot be refunded but you can exchange to a pass of the same value or higher (you will have to pay the difference).
If your purchase a discounted pass online you will be required to present your discount card / voucher on arrival at the studio. If you cannot present your card / voucher you will have to pay the remaining full price balance for the class in order to attend.
We require that you sign into class a minimum of 5 minutes prior to the class start time. If you have not signed in by this time your space will be opened up to allow for waitlisted students. If you arrive 10 minutes after the class has started, you will not be able to attend the class and this will be treated as a late cancellation.
Please always check in at front desk before your class, otherwise we will charge you as a no-show.
Once purchased season passes are non-refundable. Please note season passes are non-refundable once purchased. If the studio has to close due to COVID-19 then we will not offer any partial refunds on passes for the time closed. Should we have to close for the whole season, we will also not offer any refunds on passes.
private classes + massages
For private instructor bookings or massage therapy bookings you are required to pay a 50% deposit to secure your desired time and/or instructor. The remaining balance is due by the start of your session. For bookings cancelled up to 24 hours before the start of your session all monies including your deposit will be returned in full or we will reschedule your session. For bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours notice you will not be eligible for a refund of your deposit, but other monies paid will be returned, depending on availability we may be able to reschedule your session at our discretion.
workshops + events + courses
A refund or class credit will be given for cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date. For cancellations less than 7 days before the course, workshop or event there will be no refund or class credit unless:
- the course / workshop / event is full and your place can be filled from a waiting list, or
- you are sick/injured/pregnant and can provide a doctor’s note
If a course, workshop or event is cancelled by us, you will be offered either a refund or the option to be transferred to an alternative event. Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme.
We are unable to give refunds in the case of cancelled transport (trains, aeroplanes etc). Please ensure you take out relevant insurance to protect yourself against this.
Refunds are not possible to be made retrospectively. If we have not heard from you by 24 hours following the end of a workshop we will not be able to process any refunds.
We reserve the right to cancel a course, workshop or event for any reason. Whilst we would only do this in exceptional circumstances if we are unable to offer the workshop as advertised, or if there are insufficient numbers booked on to make it viable for the teacher. Should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and will refund you the full amount you have paid us in respect of the workshop. We will not be responsible for any additional expenses which you may have incurred in respect of the workshop, including travel, accommodation or exchange rate losses.
