At Powder Yoga we have built a community of compassionate and committed teachers many of whom have become lifelong friends. We have a varied range of international instructors teaching different class styles, we welcome teachers from any culture and training school however being able to teach in English or Japanese is required We work together as a team to achieve the best for our students and we help each other to learn and grow, coming together on a monthly basis at our social training sessions. After getting our geek on (yogi style) we usually take part in a team dinner, snowboarding session or summer hike, drinks and many other activities. Our studio is a safe space to share your skills and your practice, we can’t wait to find out more about you.

Please note all instructors are required to carry out an audition class on arrival in Niseko. We ask that you only apply if you can commit to teaching a full season here with us in Niseko. We get a lot of applications and having reliable and dedicated instructors is something we are pride ourselves on. We do not require you to be yoga alliance registered, however you must be able to provide your training certificate and proof of relevant teaching experience and insurance.

Are you a 200-hour certified yoga instructor? Is it your dream to work in the mountain region of Niseko? If so we could have the perfect opportunity for you. If you have over 2 years + teaching experience, we would love to hear from you for our winter season teaching positions.
Our studio, based in the heart of Niseko, welcomes guests from around the world and classes can get very busy so we invite applications from teachers who have experience handling fast paced studio jobs and who have a passion for teaching both studio and private classes.
You will be paid a competitive per class rate, in addition you will receive a full season pass to attend other studio classes and will benefit from the local partnerships and discounts we have with companies in town. We do ask that you only apply if you can commit to teaching a full winter season with us.

karma positions
If you are a newly qualified teacher or just really love yoga and want to be a part of our Powder Yoga family, then you may be interested in our karma yogi training programme.
The Karma Yogi training programme is an energy exchange programme that provides you with a full season pass and monthly training sessions to take your practice deeper. You will also benefit from the local partnerships and discounts we have with companies in town. In exchange we ask for 3 hours of help per week assisting in administrative / support roles at the studio. We may ask you to help with social media, to help with mat or studio cleaning or to help on the reception desk.
